NATIONAL LAUNCH OF ‘WINTER WARMTH’ CAMPAIGN With the sudden drop in temperatures and cold front, winter has made its presence known around the country! Consequently, there thousands stranded facing the biting cold and icy winter rain with virtually nothing to keep them warm other than the clothing on their body! This is tragic and sad. More tragic than that is the fact that our wardrobes are full of shirts; jackets; overcoats; jerseys; dresses; socks; shoes; and more than enough blankets that we don’t wear, need or only wear once in a year. Can this be fair and just as a Muslim or Muslimah claiming to be brethren of others who also recite the Kalimah Shahadah, like us, and are poverty stricken and suffering in the bitter cold weather? Will we not be held to account by Allah (SWT) for doing nothing to assist them? Can we not share our WARMTH with those in need by emptying our overflowing wardrobes and trunks of clothing and blankets? Or alternatively; SPONSORING A BLANKET at R60 SPONSOR A WINTER HAMPER for R250 We urge you …DO THE ISLAMICALLY CORRECT THING NOW! Once again winter has made itself at home and thousands are left to face this harsh season in utter destitute. With only R60 a blanket or R250 a winter warmth pack, you can help AMA assist those in need this winter. ”Africa Muslims Agency the Agency that Cares" It has been narrated in a Hadith: “That no Muslim gives a cloth to another Muslim except that he is in the protection of Allah so long as a piece thereof remains upon him.” Spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves, those without clothing and blankets to keep warm during the freezing winter.
