ALLAHU AKBAR...! The Blessed and Mubarakh month of Ramadhaan has, once again, arrived!

We find ourselves blessed to witness it and live its experience and benefit from its barakah and mercy’s being showered upon us and those that are fasting and the Ummah in general.

The Africa Muslims Agency with its headquarters in Kuwait, and its fulltime offices across 34 countries in Africa has been servicing the needs of those that are in need generally and those that are FASTING within the month of Ramadhaan.

Within this glorious month, amongst those that are living and witnessing its experience are thousands of our brethren, locally within South Africa and elsewhere in the rest of the continent of Africa and the globe,  that are destitute, poverty stricken, and as a result of that, being unable to secure a morsel of food to make “suhoor” or “ifthaar”!

·      Do we spare them a thought when we indulge in our delicacies and a variety of meals spread across the ifthaar and suhoor table?

·      Do we, venture to see and lookout for anyone within our family; friends or neighbourhood that is in need and have very little for “ifthaar and suhoor” in this blessed month?

·      Do we think and reflect upon the need to share our “ifthaar” and “suhoor“ meals with the less fortunate that are fasting in this great month?

In your reflection and response to the above questions, at the Africa Muslims Agency, we are offering you a channel, a route and a means to fulfill this fundamental obligation of providing  “ifthaar / suhoor’’ meals for those of our brethren that are in need and are fasting locally and within the continent of Africa.

For this year we have launched an “IFTHAAR / SUHOOR MEAL PACK” containing a  nutritious suhoor and ifthaar meal for those in need. You are most welcome to SPONSOR any amount of IFTHAAR/SUHOOR MEAL PACKS @ R50 a MEAL PACK and be assured it will reach those in need. 

Whoever feeds a fasting person will be compensated with forgiveness of sins and salvation of his soul from Hell. He will also receive a reward equal to that of the person he feeds, without causing him any reduction (in his good deeds).” (The Companions) said: “Not all of us can find something to feed a fasting person.” The Prophet (SAW) said: “Allah gives this reward to whoever feeds a fasting person even with just a taste of milk or dates, or a drink of water. Whoever quenches the thirst of a fasting person, Allah the Almighty makes him drink from my pond such that he will never feel thirsty again until he enters Paradise. It is a month whose beginning is mercy, whose middle is forgiveness and whose end is emancipation from Hell.” ( Hadeeth)

During the last Ramadhaan season, we disbursed with our donors support thousands of ifthaar / suhoor meals to those in need via several  Islamic Dawah centres within South Africa that we network with and in the most needy areas where we have Masjids; Orphanages; Ibadaat Khannas and Islamic centres which are constructed within the several countries  in the continent of Africa.

Such support has enabled those that are destitute and poverty stricken to observe the saum with content and Duas for those donors who made it possible, via the Africa Muslims Agency.

Your support and contributions of Zakaah / Sadaqah / Lillah made to us, via the website; on line transfer; or bank transfer for the purpose of “ifthaar-siyaam – feed the fasting“ project will be deeply valued; appreciated and treated as an emergency in its disbursement.
