AMA receives prestigious award for charity work and empowering communities

AMA is proud to announce that we are the recipients of the prestigious PMR.africa Diamond Arrow Award for the most charity work and empowering the disadvantaged.
The award was announced on 9 November, and honours the hard work of the organisation, as well as all the donors, staff, volunteers and international teams behind the worldwide projects.
Through the awards, PMR.Africa acknowledges contributions and initiatives, strategies, effort and hard work. PMR.africa also highlights the company’s vision, integrity, values, competence and ‘empathy,’ that contributes to ethical and sustainable practices.
AMA’s CEO Imraan Choonara, welcomed the award, and said: “There are many organisations that do amazing work to serve humanity, ultimately none of us compete with each other. I would like to thank our Creator, and express gratitude to all the staff members, volunteers and donor across the world to enables us to serve humanity together.”
Some of AMA’s most recent projects include the distribution of hot meals, food packages and dignity kits in Gaza, during the ongoing war and siege imposed by Israel, as well as food, oil and water distributions in the Herat province in Afghanistan which was recently struck by an earthquake.
AMA’s work is ongoing around the world, from the building of water wells in Malawi, to assisting people in refugee camps in Lebanon and the start of a new school year in the Aman School of Excellence, as well as the daily projects underway in South Africa.
Through the continued support from donors, AMA has been able to assist vulnerable communities, empower them, and watch them thrive.
